Asia is vast—stretching from the Black Sea to the Pacific, from the jungles of Southeast Asia to the snowy peaks of the Caucasus. This is a continent of quiet welcomes and layered histories, where kingdoms have risen and vanished, monasteries cling to cliffs, and everyday life reflects both ritual and resilience. Whether trekking through the mountains of Georgia, traversing Myanmar’s countryside, or taking in the unique morning rituals of Luang Prabang, Laos, Asia rewards patience and curiosity over polish.
Asia presents a cross-roads of history, from the Caucasus to the Pacific. In Georgia, ancient churches meet one of the world’s oldest (and, arguably, most original) wine regions. In Azerbaijan, Silk Road ruins meet futuristic architecture, and Caspian coastlines notably devoid of passenger vessels. And then there is Myanmar. “This is Burma,” Rudyard Kipling once stated. “And it will be unlike any land you know about.”
These are not destinations for quick checklists or luxury frills. They’re places that reward – and even require – a comfort with the uncomfortable and a desire to go truly “off-grid.” Welcome to Asia, my friends! You will learn to live without the things you love, and to love living without those things.
We’re just getting started!
